Are the Ballet Olympics really everything they promise to be?

Every year, sometime between the end of January, and the beginning of February, the eyes of the ballet world turn towards Lausanne, more specifically, Beaulieu Theatre for what is still considered today the ‘Olympics of Ballet’.
